Term 1 Science for the 5/6s is all about chemistry! We are investigating solids, liquids and gases. The students have been looking at Physical and Chemical reactions through experimentation. We had lots of fun turning cream into butter, melting chocolate, making a gas by combining  bi-carb soda and vinegar and observing the reaction of a detergent with milk. The 5/6 students are learning about laboratory safety and how to work as scientists in the senior science laboratories.
